Duties and Responsibilities:
Contribute to the formation of strategies for the organization’s four Departments, on the basis of which the new research proposals will be developed.
Prepare research proposals, grant applications and tenders with minimum supervision
Establish relationships with international project partners for the development of new projects and programs
Manage and train junior researchers and project managers whilst providing feedback and recommendations for further improvement on their writing and research ability
Manage projects and prepare reports for C.I. P’s current projects
Conduct literature reviews and prepare reports for C.I.P’s current projects
Develop lesson plans related to STEM that will have gamification, problem based learning and experimentation for students or adults
Conduct fieldwork research (interviews, survey research, observations, focus groups)
Prepare data collection instruments and collect and analyze data
Facilitate the organization of workshops and dissemination activities
Prepare and deliver project presentations
Represent C.I.P. abroad in various educational events
Minimum Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in any field, preferably in an Education related field
Master’s Degree in a related field is mandatory, preferably from an English-speaking University
Outstanding use of English and Greek language, both in writing and orally
Excellent team-working skills
Strong communication skills and proven ability to network and represent the organization in conferences and meetings
Strong management and organization skills
Dynamic personality with strong teamwork skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Willing to learn and take initiatives
Important Note: The availability of extensive traveling constitutes a necessary condition for recruitment in these positions.
Additional Desired Qualifications and Skills:
PhD in any relevant field, preferably in Education
Proven experience in the proposal writing for European projects, including Horizon Europe, Erasmus+, or other relevant EU funding programs
Proven experience in coordinating research teams
Comprehensive understanding of the different levels of education, such as primary, secondary, higher & adult education and VET
Outstanding use of Greek language
