At PHC Franchised Restaurants Public Ltd, we value innovation, teamwork, passion for great food and drive for results. We are seeking for an Executive Head Chef for the Cafés and Restaurants of the group.

As an Executive Head Chef of the Cafés and Restaurants you will be responsible for the local brands such as Verde, Hobo, Pier One, Remezo, To Kypriakon, Tavernaki.

Duties and responsibilities

• Ensure all company policies, procedures, and standards are consistently upheld across all cafés and restaurants.

• Implement and enforce full compliance with Health & Safety regulations and HACCP standards.

• Guide Restaurant’s Chefs in proactively monitoring quality, ensuring consistency through careful observation and attention to detail at every location.

• Ensure quality is consistently maintained and delivered by closely observing operations and collaborating with Restaurant’s Chefs.

• Take an active role in training Restaurant’s Chefs, ensuring all back-of-house teams receive comprehensive training in line with brand guidelines and company procedures.

• Monitor and maintain communication with suppliers to ensure efficient food cost management and high-quality ingredients.

• Lead by example, fostering a positive and professional environment within the team.

• Contribute to menu development and creation of new recipes by enhancing existing dishes and introducing seasonal items.

·         Maintain staff discipline and address performance or conduct issues in collaboration with management and HR, following company procedures.

·         Review staffing levels, rotas and wage costs with Restaurant Chefs to support efficient kitchen operations.

Successful candidate’s Profile

·         Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar position or as a Head Chef

·         Ability to work in a fast – paced environment

·         Attention to detail and quality

·         Pleasant and dynamic personality

·         High commitment and drive for results

·         Good knowledge of English/or Greek language

·         Excellent communication and team work skills

·         Good knowledge of MS office

·         Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to develop and support back-of-house teams.

·         Strong customer service focus and enthusiasm for the hospitality industry.

·         Ability to work under pressure and remain flexible to the needs of the business.
