Front Office Manager Job Purpose:

Directly supervises all front office personnel and ensures proper completion of all front office duties. Directs and coordinates the activities of the front desk, reservations, guest services, and telephone areas. Prepare monthly reports and budget for front office department.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Updates group information. Maintains, monitors, and prepares group requirements. Relays information to appropriate personnel.
• Managing and training the Front Office staff.
• Ensuring the front desk provides a professional and friendly service for guests.
• Dealing with guests.
• Operate all aspects of Front Office computer system, including software maintenance, report generation and analysis, and simple configuration changes.
• The Front Office is the area of the hotel where guests form their first and last impressions of the hotel – this makes it important for the Front Office Manager to work hard to create a pleasant experience for guests to ensure their return.

Requirements:

        Work Experience: At least 3 years in a similar position will be considered as an advantage.
        Academic Qualifications: Diploma or degree in hospitality or tourism related field will be considered        as an advantage.
       Computer Knowledge: MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Theova PMS preferable or other PMS
