Cyprofund Administrations Services Ltd is currently seeking to recruit a Fund Accountant/Administrator to join our Nicosia Office.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Financial Record-Keeping: Taking an active part in the initial setup of any new funds take-on in the systems and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for investment funds.
NAV Calculation: Perform monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and yearly calculations of the fund's Net Asset Value (NAV).
Financial Reporting: Prepare investor reports, and other financial reports to ensure transparency for management and investors.
Transaction Reconciliation: Reconcile portfolio transactions and bank and brokerage accounts to ensure accuracy.
Regulatory Compliance: Takes part in the AML Compliance and KYC procedures for clients and investors and makes an assessment in accordance to the Company’s manuals.
Audit Support: Support the annual audit process by providing necessary financial data and documentation.
Coordination: Work closely with fund managers, auditors, investors, and other professionals.
Performs additional duties and responsibilities as required.
Skills and specifications:
Team player: Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Technical Proficiency: Expertise in accounting software (E-Soft and Fundcount) and Microsoft Excel can be considered an advantage.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in calculations and record-keeping and high attention to detail when preparing the investor reports.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with clients and stakeholders.
Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously and acts proactively to ensure that the work runs smoothly and reports potential overruns.
Qualifications:
University degree in Accounting/Business and Finance and other related field.
In the process of pursuing a professional qualification ACA/ ACCA (will be considered an advantage).
Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written.
Excellent computer literacy.
