About the Role

Trinity Private School in Limassol, Cyprus, is seeking a dedicated Greek Language Teacher to join our Primary School team.

We are looking for a passionate and engaging educator who can create a supportive learning environment and help younger students develop confidence and interest in the Greek language and culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Teaching Greek language to Primary School students
• Designing and delivering engaging, age-appropriate, student-centered lessons
• Creating a supportive and positive classroom environment
• Collaborating with colleagues on curriculum planning and school initiatives
• Supporting students’ language development through interactive and creative activities
• Participating in school events and wider school life
• Creating and leading after-school activities related to Greek language or culture

Requirements

• University degree in Greek language, philology, primary education, or a related field
• Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience, preferably with Primary School students
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Warm, flexible, and child-centered approach
• Willingness to work collaboratively within an international school environment

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience working in an international or bilingual school
• Experience developing curriculum and unit plans
• Familiarity with student-centered or inquiry-based approaches
• Experience creating engaging teaching materials and interactive lessons
• Confidence using digital tools in the classroom
