We are seeking to recruit a full-time Greek Teacher to join our growing team at PASCAL Private Kindergarten & Primary School Lemesos.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspire and challenge pupils to unlock their full potential
• Promote the highest standards of teaching, learning and assessment
• Create a lively, communicative atmosphere in class conducive to teaching and learning
• Effectively plan and deliver lessons in accordance with the relevant schemes of work
• Engage in oral and written dialogues with parents/guardians/carers to provide feedback about their child’s progress
• Tactfully deal with behavioural issues in accordance with the school’s policies
• Adhere to all school rules, procedures and practices, such as health and safety, data protection, equal opportunities, safeguarding, and pupils’ well-being
• Promote the school in a positive light to the wider community
• Keep up-to-date with current educational policies and practices
• Undertake additional tasks, as assigned by the management of the school

Candidate Profile

• Undergraduate Degree in Greek Studies, which is recognised by The Cyprus Council of Recognition of Higher Education Qualifications (KY.S.A.T.S.)
• Excellent command of the English language
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Candidates with a valid work permit in Cyprus will be considered for this position.

Successful employment is subject to submission of the required documents, which include, amongst other, reference letters, clean and recent police certificates (Criminal Record and Sexual Harassment Record), degree recognition certificate, proof of eligibility to teach, etc.
