Grill Cook / Grill Specialist (Ψήστης)

Tylichto – Limassol Agora

Tylichto is a growing and modern food business in Limassol, known for quality, generous portions and excellent customer service.

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and experienced Grill Cook to join our kitchen team at Tylichto Limassol Agora.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality grilled food while maintaining excellent standards of taste, consistency, cleanliness and food safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate the grill and prepare gyros, chicken souvlaki, pork souvlaki and other grilled menu items.
• Ensure all meat and food products are cooked thoroughly and consistently.
• Monitor cooking times and temperatures to maintain food quality and safety.
• Prepare ingredients and organise the grill station before and during service.
• Maintain consistent portion sizes and presentation according to Tylichto standards.
• Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure orders are completed accurately and on time.
• Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic grill station.
• Follow HACCP, food hygiene and health and safety procedures.
• Monitor stock levels and inform management when ingredients need replenishing.
• Minimise food waste and use ingredients efficiently.
• Work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining quality and speed.
• Follow company procedures and contribute to a positive working environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a grill cook, ψήστης or in a similar restaurant kitchen position is an advantage.
• Knowledge of grilling meat and preparing souvlaki and other grilled products.
• Understanding of food hygiene and safe food handling.
• Reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to food quality.
• Willingness to learn and follow Tylichto's recipes and procedures.
