Role Overview:

• Reporting to the group CFO & CEO

• Responsible for the overall financial management of the group.

• Ensure team members are supervised as well as developed through on the job supervision based on human organisational principles.

Job Responsibilities:

• Monitor financial accounting systems, transactions, policies and procedures.

• Prepare, present monthly, quarterly & annual financial statements and all accounting reports (TB, BS, P & L, cashflows).

• Analyse and interpret financial information for budgeting and forecasting including variances from actual to budget and forecast.

• The person in charge to approve payments to subcontractors and suppliers.

• Managing / Controlling the efficient application of all hotel software PMS & POS Interfaces / End of Day including the reviewing of daily revenue

• Participating in budget preparation and keeping truck of month variances and proactively prevents significant variances

• Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting standards & laws including VAT, other related documents.

• Liaise with auditors for preparation of annual audit reports.

• Responsible for Management Accounts

• Execution of payroll, salary payments, social insurance, PAYE and other reporting requirements

• Supervise and guide the accounting team

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or equivalent field degree in accounting or finance

• 5+ years’ experience in a similar role (hospitality is an advantage)

• Proficiency in financial software. Knowledge of hotel software or related will be considered as an advantage.

• Excellent analytical communication, interpersonal skills.

• Able to operate multitask under pressure meeting deadlines of financial matters.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team consistently
