Thanos Hotels & Resorts, as part of its expansion, is looking to hire a Groups & Corporate Sales Manager.
Job Overview
The Groups & Corporate Sales Manager is responsible for growing revenue within the group and corporate segments by executing targeted sales initiatives set in collaboration with the Director of Sales. The role focuses on acquiring new business, managing and nurturing existing client relationships, and maximizing revenue across rooms, meetings & events, food & beverage, and other hotel services — all while upholding the highest standards of luxury hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement targeted sales strategies to drive group and corporate business, in line with the hotel's overall commercial objectives and revenue targets
Proactively identify, prospect, and secure new corporate accounts, group bookings, and MICE opportunities across defined market segments
Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients and key business partners to grow a loyal and productive account base
Conduct partner and client meetings, sales calls, site inspections, and presentations, with a focus on converting group and corporate enquiries into confirmed business
Negotiate corporate rates and group agreements / contracts within the guidelines set by the Director of Sales and in line with revenue objectives
Work closely with Commercial Team to ensure optimal group allocation, account performance, and seamless delivery of client commitments
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and corporate pricing strategies, sharing relevant insights with the Director of Sales to inform commercial decision-making
Prepare and present regular sales forecasts, activity reports, and performance updates for the group and corporate segments to the Director of Sales
Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to raise visibility and generate new business leads within the group and corporate space
Ensure consistently high levels of client satisfaction, supporting long-term partnerships and repeat business within the corporate and group sectors
Requirements
Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a similar role is required
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Greek is considered an asset
Strong network within corporate, travel, or MICE markets is an advantage
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
High level of professionalism and attention to detail
