Mavromatis Employment is seeking to recruit on behalf of his client the ideal candidate for the job position of Groups & MICE Officer in Larnaca.
The position
We are seeking to recruit a dynamic and motivated individual as Group & MICE Officer. The successful candidate shall be organising & coordinating Groups while maintaining and developing supplier and client relationships.
The role - Principal Responsibilities
Quoting, organizing, coordinating and generally handling Group requests and group visits
Develop new and strengthen existing business partnerships
Develop new products and services to proactively promote and drive growth of the Group business
Liaise with industry partners and suppliers to negotiate and manage contracts
Essential Skills, Competencies & Qualities
Excellent organisational skills and customer service orientation
Experience in building and maintaining strong partner relationships
Awareness and ability to comprehend, analyse and present data
Pro-activity, creativity and results orientated
Ability to coordinate and manage multiple tasks and work to tight deadlines
Trustworthiness, honesty and commitment
Experience working within a similar role within the travel & tourism industry shall be considered as an advantage
Qualifications
BA or College degree in Tourism Management, Business, Hotel Management, Economics, Finance or related fields is a pre-requisite
Excellent IT literacy skills and a proficient computer user
Good command for the English language is a must
Knowledge of a foreign language may also be considered as an advantage (French, German, Spanish, Polish)
Driver's licence is essential as the role requires you to travel within Cyprus
Remuneration and working conditions:
A competitive and comprehensive remuneration package will be offered to the successful applicant based on his/her qualifications and experience - €17,500 – €25,000
The successful candidate shall be employed on a 5-day week basis at the Larnaka Head office.
Working hours: 9:00-17:00
