Job Summary

Operational, personnel and administrative lead for the GSE Repair Shop. Efficiently manage all company maintenance activities whether in-house or outsourced to third parties, answer complaints with corporate stakeholders and applicable local and international regulations. To ensure implementation of SOPs and KPIs of Global and Local fleet management strategy at assigned station.

Your activities

• Ensure compliance with all applicable standards
• Troubleshoot (Maintenance Manuals / Electrical / Mechanical / Technical Drawings)
• Establish GSE needs, finalize replacement plan and initiate procurement procedure
• Be aware of company policies and ensure that these are strictly adhered to
• Develop annual maintenance budget and monitor it on a monthly basis
• Develop spare parts purchasing policy and ensure that the budgeted purchase target is achieved by monitoring the purchases and being involved in the procurement of spare parts
• Implementation of telematics solution and monitoring the data
• Ensure compliance / implementation of Global Fleet Manual as well as system migration to the internal Fleet Management System and Maximo
• Definition of the maintenance strategy: in or outsourcing definition, partner selection and negotiation for outsourcing and subcontracting, application of global maintenance policies
• Definition of the optimal organizational structure: required roles and optimal staffing levels both in terms of support staff as well as mechanics. Ensure effective planning methods for manpower and equipment
• Compliance with legal/QSHE requirements. Ensures the compliance with all legal/QHSE regulations both in terms of local country legislation as well as Swissport standards
• Management of warranty claims. Verifies through the system whether the equipment maintained is under manufacturer warranty and manages appropriate claims
• Develop and improve workshop controlled deliverables
• Ensure controlled deliverables are met at all times
• Ensure the quality of the work performed by the facility

Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree in related engineering or fleet management field or equivalent extensive experience
• Three to five years experience in operational fleet management roles or GSE maintenance roles or similar roles (e.g. general vehicle maintenance)
• Demonstrate business acumen, analyzing key performance indicators and focusing on customer
• Display agility, lead and facilitate change
• Strong organizational, leadership and communication skills
• Ability to establish and maintain positive, professional, internal and external work relationships with all stakeholders, customers and interest groups
• Excellent Greek and English communication skills and ability to work with equipment manuals in the English language
• Personal and professional integrity of the highest level
• Technically competent in different equipment
• Computer literacy including familiarity with computer aided maintenance tools
• Valid driver’s license
• Demonstrate a results oriented approach with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Be a self-starter with a high degree of motivation and pro-activeness
• Ability to work under pressure, weekends, holidays and evenings as required
• Willing to travel when necessary for training or to assist other stations with GSE issues
