CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding provider of payment infrastructure for PSPs, PayFacs, payment platforms, and merchants, we are seeking to recruit a Head of Product to join their growing team based in Limassol. As a Head of Product, you will sit at the intersection of market research, customer needs, commercial strategy, and product development. Our client is seeking applicants who understand payments deeply and can evaluate new industries, geographies, business models, and risk profiles, then translate those insights into product direction and go-to-market strategy. We encourage applications from candidates with prior experience working for PSPs, acquirers, payment gateways, banks, fintech companies, payment orchestration platforms, embedded finance providers, or other payment-focused businesses, who hold experience building and owning product roadmaps from discovery through launch. Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Define and own the product roadmap and priorities.
• Research payment markets, providers, payment methods, competitors, regulations, and emerging trends.
• Identify opportunities for market, provider, payment method, and product expansion.
• Translate market and customer insights into clear product requirements.
• Work closely with engineering on routing, checkout, integrations, reporting, reconciliation, risk controls, and platform capabilities.
• Build go-to-market plans for new products, markets, payment methods, and commercial opportunities.
• Define and monitor key product and payment performance metrics.
• Balance commercial opportunities, customer needs, technical constraints, compliance requirements, and long-term platform quality.

 

Key Skills/Experience: 

• A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is essential.
• Advanced degrees such as an MBA can be advantageous, providing additional knowledge and leadership skills.
• Proven senior product experience in payments, fintech, banking, acquiring, PSPs, payment gateways, PayFacs, orchestration platforms, or similar infrastructure businesses.
• Strong market research and product strategy capabilities.
• Experience building and owning product roadmaps from discovery through launch.
• Strong understanding of payment flows, provider integrations, checkout, routing, reconciliation, reporting, and merchant operations.
• Ability to assess a new market, geography, industry, or business model and define both product requirements and go-to-market strategy. Comfortable working directly with leadership, customers, commercial teams, operations, and engineering.
• Strong decision-making skills and ability to manage product and commercial trade-offs.
• Candidates may come from PSPs, acquirers, payment gateways, banks, fintech companies, payment orchestration platforms, embedded finance providers, or other payment-focused businesses.
