YNB is looking for a dedicated Health & Safety Coordinator to join our team. This role involves ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations, overseeing site safety, and supporting clients in maintaining safe working environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction site safety and a commitment to promoting best practices in health & safety management.

 

Key Responsibilities include:

• Monitor and oversee all health & safety aspects related to project team members and contractors, ensuring compliance with project requirements, specifications, safety codes, and relevant policies/guidelines.
• Ensure the project adheres to the H&S Plan, H&S Procedures, Risk Register, Risk Mitigation Plan, H&S Audit Plan/Procedures, and all other H&S-related documents.
• Prepare and review task specific safety method statements
• Conduct risk assessments and enforce preventative measures
• Review and update H&S policies and procedures in line with legislative changes.
• Inspect worksites, premises, and personnel activities to identify safety issues and non-conformities.
• Investigate and report on accidents and incidents, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.

 

Requirements:

• University degree in Civil, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering/Geology
• Additional Health & Safety certification/qualifications (e.g. NEBOSH IGC) will be considered an advantage
• Proven experience as an H&S practitioner is desirable
• Previous experience in construction sites shall be considered an advantage
• Good written and spoken communication skills in English and Greek
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications i.e, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
