The Houseman ensures that public areas in the hotel are clean, orderly, and attractive while responding to guest requests efficiently and courteously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure assigned areas are clean and neat as directed by the Executive Housekeeper
- Dust and clean lamps, mirrors, and pictures
- Vacuum halls and lobbies; mop and clean all floors in assigned areas
- Empty trash receptacles and replace bags as needed
- Clear trash from tables and floors
- Stay aware of safety issues and report them to maintenance or the Executive Housekeeper
Qualifications and Experience:
- High school certificate with at least 1 year of experience in a similar role
- Strong sanitation habits, customer service skills, and ability to follow safety regulations
- Proficient in English and Greek
- EU citizen or holder of an EU work permit
