We are seeking to recruit a full-time Information Technology Support Technician to join our growing team at PASCAL Private School Lefkosia.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support and troubleshooting assistance to employees of the organisation
• Respond to service requests and incidents ensuring timely resolution to IT matters
• Diagnose and resolve technical problems, including hardware failures, software errors, and connectivity issues, through remote assistance for all schools or on-site visits for the schools located in Lemesos
• Install, configure and maintain computer hardware and software applications
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as software updates, antivirus scans, and system backups, in order to ensure the reliability and security of IT systems
• Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of audiovisual equipment, multimedia devices, and classroom technology for instructional purposes
• Collaborate with other IT staff members and vendors to escalate and resolve complex technical issues that require specialised experience and expertise
• Educate employees on the use of technology resources, software applications and best practices for information security
• Stay informed about emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in IT support area and contribute to the continuous improvement of IT services and processes

Candidate Profile

• Undergraduate Degree in Information Technology Support Technician or a Certificate in Information Technology or a similar field, will be considered an advantage
• Proven experience as an Information Technology Support Technician or a similar role
• Solid knowledge of Information Technology systems and applications
• Familiarity with basic networking concepts
• Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information
• Excellent command of English language
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Candidates with a valid work permit in Cyprus will be considered for this position.
