Evidentrust Financial Services Ltd is a modern Accounting, Audit, Tax and Advisory firm based in Limassol, Cyprus. As our team continues to grow, we are looking to recruit a motivated and ambitious Junior Auditor to join our Audit Department and build a rewarding career as a qualified ACCA professional.
The Role
You will be an integral part of our audit team, gaining hands-on experience across a variety of client engagements from day one. Working closely with senior auditors and management, you will develop your technical and professional skills while progressing towards your ACCA qualification, fully supported by the firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning, execution and completion of statutory audit engagements for local and international clients.
- Prepare audit working papers and documentation in accordance with relevant professional standards (ISAs/IFRSs).
- Develop an understanding of each client’s business, identifying risk areas and planning audit work accordingly.
- Prepare financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
- Assist with the preparation of tax computations and tax returns.
- Communicate professionally with clients during the course of audit fieldwork.
- Report findings and results to senior audit staff and management.
- Undertake any other duties assigned by management as required.
Requirements
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or any related discipline.
- School Leaving Certificate with a grade of at least 17.5 or equivalent.
- Intention to pursue or currently pursuing the ACCA qualification.
- Holders of LCCI Higher, CAT, AAT or any equivalent accounting qualification will be considered an advantage.
- Prior experience in accounting or audit will be considered an advantage.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel and Word.
- Excellent command of Greek and English languages (written and spoken).
