Junior IT Helpdesk Support Specialist

Main Responsibilities
- Helpdesk Support: Act as the first point of contact for all IT-related issues, assisting users with their requests and providing timely troubleshooting for technical problems.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues across desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and printers.
- System and Network Monitoring: Monitor network performance and conduct regular system checks to ensure optimal functionality and uptime.
- Workplace Setup: Configure and deploy desktops, laptops, and mobile devices for new and existing users, ensuring smooth onboarding and transitions.
- User Account Management: Create, manage and troubleshoot user accounts and access controls in Active Directory, Azure Active Directory and Office 365.
- Device & Endpoint Management: Use Microsoft Intune to enroll, configure, and secure company devices, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
- Printer Support: Assist with printer setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Data Backup & Recovery: Verify that data backup systems are operating correctly and assist with recovery processes when required.
- Asset Management: Maintain an accurate and up-to-date inventory of IT equipment, coordinating replacements, upgrades, and disposals as needed.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Professional certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or ITIL Foundation are a plus.
- 0–2 years’ experience in IT helpdesk or technical support.
Key Requirements
- Familiarity with Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Office 365 and basic network troubleshooting.
- Foundational knowledge of ticketing systems and remote support tools.
- Strong customer-service orientation, good communication skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and grow within an IT support environment.
Preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Intune, Monday.com, or similar endpoint & task management platforms.
- Previous experience in a regulated or security-sensitive environment.

- User & Identity: Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Office 365 Admin Center
- Endpoint Management: Microsoft Intune
- Networking / Diagnostics: Palo Alto Firewall, ipconfig, VPN clients, basic router/switch familiarity,
- Ticketing & Remote Support: FreshDesk, TeamViewer, Remote Desktop (RDP).
- Collaboration: Microsoft Teams, Monday.com
- OS Platforms: Windows 10/11, macOS, iOS, Android, Linux
- Backup/Storage: OneDrive, SharePoint, cloud backup monitoring tools
