WE ARE HIRING: JUNIOR LITIGATION LAWYER & SENIOR LITIGATION LAWYER

Location: One position based in Nicosia and one position based in Limassol, Cyprus | Full-time

A Cyprus law firm with offices in Limassol, Nicosia and Athens is seeking to hire one Junior Litigation Lawyer and one Senior Litigation Lawyer to join its litigation team. The Junior Litigation Lawyer position is based in Limassol, while the successful candidate for the Senior Litigation Lawyer position can choose between the Nicosia or Limassol office.

This is an opportunity for a capable advocate to work closely with the firm’s partners and advise local and international clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage litigation matters from initial advice through to trial and appeal.
• Represent clients before the Cyprus courts.
• Draft pleadings, applications, affidavits, written submissions and legal opinions.
• Advise on litigation strategy, interim relief and settlement negotiations.
• Conduct legal research and provide clear, practical advice.
• Ensure high standards of work and compliance with court deadlines.

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified advocate admitted to practise in Cyprus, with a valid practising licence.
• Post-qualification experience in litigation, with experience before the Cyprus courts.
• Experience in civil and commercial disputes.
• Native Greek speaker with professional-level English, both written and spoken.
• Strong advocacy, drafting, analytical and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage a demanding caseload independently and work effectively within a team.
• Professional integrity, sound judgment and a client-focused approach.

Experience in corporate and shareholder disputes, injunctions, insolvency or cross-border litigation will be considered an advantage.

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday: 08:30 - 13:30 and 14:30 - 18:00.

Friday: 08:30 - 14:00.
