Junior Reconciliation Officer
The Role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated professional to join one of our affiliated companies. The successful candidate will be part of the Finance team and will contribute towards the protection and safeguarding of clients’ assets and funds. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate with various departments.
The main responsibilities of the position include:
• Prepare client data reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information.
• Provide reports and documentation to comply with regulations and internal reporting requirements.
• Investigate and resolve any discrepancies identified in collaboration with the Back Office team.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive bank records to ensure accuracy and completeness in documentation.
• Monitor and track outstanding items, ensuring they are promptly resolved.
• Implement and adhere to reconciliation procedures and internal processes.
• Remain informed about any relevant regulatory requirements and the industry’s best practices, relating to reconciliation processes and safeguarding of client assets.
• Ensure that all financial information is recorded in a complete, accurate and timely manner.
• Coordinate with other external advisors and service providers as required.
• Assist in the preparation and delivery of the monthly income calculation in coordination with other teams, ensuring any discrepancies are promptly identified and resolved.
• Provide any recommendations for improvements and efficiency enhancements where applicable.
Main requirements:
• BSc/MSc in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Administration or in any related field.
• Previous experience with client data reconciliations or with payment providers will be considered a plus.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• An energetic, positive individual with strong organisational skills and the ability to work in a team.
• Proactive and results oriented.
• Very good knowledge of MS Office.
• Excellent oral and written skills in English.
