Ledra Brick Factory Ltd is seeking a responsible and technically skilled Kiln Operator / Furnace Operator to oversee and monitor the operation of an industrial brick-firing kiln, ensuring safe, efficient, and continuous production.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and control the industrial kiln and burner systems.
• Monitor kiln temperatures, fuel supply, combustion conditions, and firing cycles.
• Identify and troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues.
• Perform basic mechanical maintenance and assist with equipment repairs.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and operational procedures.
• Maintain accurate operating records and report equipment malfunctions.
• Coordinate with the production and maintenance teams to ensure uninterrupted operations.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Mechanical or technical background required.
• Qualifications or experience in automotive mechanics, diesel engines, fuel systems, burners, or petroleum-related mechanical systems will be considered a strong advantage.
• Experience in industrial machinery, heating systems, or kiln operations is an advantage.
• Good mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and responsibly.
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts, 6 days per week, including night shifts, weekends, and public holidays, according to the production schedule and in compliance with applicable labour legislation.

Working Conditions

• Industrial manufacturing environment.
• Rotating day and night shifts.
• Full training on kiln operation and safety procedures will be provided.
