LABORATORY SCIENTIFIC OFFICER

We are looking for a Laboratory Scientific Officer to join the Bioinformatics Department of the Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics. 

This position is for a period of 1 year, with a possibility of an extension. 

JOB SUMMARY 

The successful candidate will work in the Project HORIZON-WIDERA-2023-ACCESS-06 entitled “Integrating Systems Bioinformatics approaches for Point-of-Care Cardiovascular disease diagnostics (PoCCardio-SB)” funded by the European Commission.

WHAT WE ARE SEEKING

• BSc or equivalent degree in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Engineering, Computational Biology or closely related field. 
• Command of the English language

The following will be considered as advantage:

• MSc or equivalent degree in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Computational Biology or Engineering or closely related field.
• Previous experience in software development for medical devices and edge computing.
• Strong programming skills.
