Lawyer – Nicosia

We are seeking to hire a Lawyer at our law firm. The successful candidate should have the following qualifications and skills:

 

Requirements:

• Recognized law degree and membership at the Cyprus Bar Association. Post-graduate qualifications shall be considered an asset.
• Fluent knowledge of Greek and very good knowledge of English, both written and oral. Additional languages shall be considered an asset.
• Knowledge of legal drafting / pleadings. Experience of conducting court hearings shall be considered an asset.
• Excellent use of the Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.).
• Ability to work under deadlines and take initiatives.
• Excellent organisation, communication, research, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Team player and sense of responsibility.
• Dynamic, with pleasant personality and integrity of character.
• Driving Licence (Category B).

 

Responsibilities:

• Representation of clients before all courts and jurisdictions in Cyprus and conducting court hearings.
• Drafting of pleadings, applications and various legal documents.
• Communication with clients.
• Conducting legal research and provision of legal opinions and consultations.
• Use of i-Justice system.

 

Remuneration:

• Salary will be offered according to qualifications and experience.
