We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Lighting Specialist to join our studio.
The successful candidate will support the preparation of lighting design documentation, AutoCAD drawings, project quotations and technical submissions. The role requires good organizational skills, technical understanding and the ability to work accurately across different stages of residential, hospitality and commercial lighting projects.
The position combines technical drawing, project documentation and commercial support, working closely with the design team.
2. Responsibilities
Prepare and update lighting layouts and technical drawings using AutoCAD.
Produce drawing revisions according to project changes and design instructions.
Prepare project quotations, cost estimates and commercial offers.
Calculate lighting fixture quantities and assist in the preparation of Bills of Quantities.
Prepare lighting schedules, product lists and technical documentation.
Review architectural drawings and identify the information required for the lighting design proposal.
Organize project folders, drawings, quotations, technical data sheets and related documentation.
Ensure that all drawings and quotations are accurate, clearly presented and completed within the required deadlines.
Support the lighting design team during the different stages of each project.
Communicate with architects, interior designers and other project consultants when required.
Maintain accurate records of project revisions, product selections and quotation updates.
3. Ideal Candidate Profile
Bachelor degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Electrical Engineering, Drafting or a related field.
Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD is essential.
Previous experience in preparing technical drawings, quotations or project documentation is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good organisational and time-management skills.
Ability to read and understand architectural and electrical drawings.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
Excellent and verbal communication skills in English and Greek.
Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively within deadlines.
Professional, responsible and proactive approach to work.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Previous experience in the lighting, electrical, architectural or interior design industry will be considered an advantage.
Knowledge of Revit will be considered an additional advantage.
