CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established and well-known law firm, we are seeking to recruit a Litigation Lawyer to join their growing team in Limassol. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and executing legal opinions and various legal documents, as well as assisting with litigation cases including inter alia banking, family, inheritance and tort cases. Our client is seeking a Cyprus Qualified Lawyer holding a degree in Law, with at least 3+ years of post-qualification experience gained within a law firm. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in commercial agreements and transactions, together with strong legal drafting and analytical skills. The successful applicant will need to have good knowledge of i-justice and be fluent in both Greek and English, with knowledge of Russian considered a plus. Our client offers an attractive remuneration package based on skills and experience. Working hours are 08:00-13:00 & 15:00-18:00, Monday to Friday.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
Prepare, review, and execute legal opinions, agreements, and a wide range of legal documentation.
Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and other legal agreements.
Attend court hearings and proceedings, including making submissions and court appearances.
Draft, review, and file pleadings and other litigation-related documentation.
Assist with a variety of litigation matters, including banking, family, inheritance, and tort law cases.
Support transactional and corporate compliance matters, ensuring adherence to relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
Conduct client due diligence and assist with the preparation and review of supporting documentation.
Provide legal support and guidance to clients on matters relating to corporate, commercial, and real estate law, as required.
Key Skills/Experience:
Holder of a Bachelor degree in Law (LLB).
Master’s degree (LLM) would be considered as advantage.
Member of Cyprus Bar Association.
3-5 years of post-qualification experience as a lawyer in a law firm.
Experience in commercial agreements and transactions.
Good Computer Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Good knowledge of i-justice.
Fluency in oral and written Greek and English. Russian would be considered as advantage.
Strong analytical skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality, integrity, responsibility and professionalism.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
