The Opportunity:

• Drafting and filing of pleadings according to Civil Procedure Rules

• Appearing before Courts and undertaking hearing procedures

• Managing corporate litigation cases and interim applications

• Participating and assisting in restructuring and Insolvency projects including Receiverships and Liquidations and offering support to insolvency practitioners

• Drafting contracts, agreements, and other legal documents

• Preparing legal opinions for local and international clients 

• Negotiating with clients to reach settlement

• Participating in international business reorganization projects and assisting with the preparation of documentation

 

The Requirements:

• Law degree (LLB)

• Master’s degree would be considered as an advantage

• Member of the Cyprus Bar Association 

• At least two (2) years of working experience in Banking, Corporate or Commercial law

• Very good working knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules, Company Law and Contract Law

• Excellent client service skills

• Strong team orientation, ability to work collaboratively in a team setting

• Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English languages (written and spoken)

• Excellent knowledge of Excel/Word/ PowerPoint (Microsoft Office)
