As we continue to grow, we are looking for a motivated and creative Marketing & Communications Officer to join our Marketing & Communications team.
This is an opportunity for an early-career professional who wants to build broad, hands-on experience across social media, digital marketing, content creation, website communications, events and the communication of EU-funded initiatives.
Working under the guidance of the Head of Communications & Marketing, you will support the day-to-day implementation of marketing and communication activities, helping us create content that is engaging, accurate, on-brand and delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities
As part of the Marketing & Communications team, you will:
- Support the implementation of social media and digital marketing campaigns, including sponsored advertising.
- Create and adapt engaging content for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and other digital channels, in line with approved communication plans.
- Support communication and visibility activities for EU-funded projects, developing and adapting content in line with agreed project communication plans and requirements.
- Update website content and support the preparation of newsletters, presentations and other digital and marketing materials.
- Support the planning, promotion and communication of events, workshops and conferences.
- Collect agreed social media and campaign metrics and prepare basic performance summaries using established tools and templates.
Contribute creative ideas for social media content, campaigns, storytelling and visibility activities.
What We Are Looking For
Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Journalism, Business or a related field.
- Approximately 1 year of relevant professional experience, or equivalent practical experience, in digital marketing, communications, social media or content creation. Relevant experience may have been gained through employment, internships, freelance or project work, volunteering or other practical activities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Greek and English.
- Familiarity with social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok.
- Some familiarity with paid digital advertising, such as Meta Ads Manager and/or Google Ads.
- Familiarity with one or more content creation and editing tools, such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, DaVinci Resolve or similar.
- Ability to understand basic social media and campaign metrics and prepare simple performance summaries.
- Good organisational skills and ability to manage assigned tasks and deadlines effectively.

Additional Experience That Would Be Valuable
Experience in any of the following will be considered an advantage:
- Communication, dissemination or visibility activities for EU-funded projects. Website content management through WordPress or another CMS, Newsletter or email campaign content.
- Event promotion and communication.
- Basic photography, video production or editing.
- Ethical and effective use of AI tools for content ideation, drafting, editing or workflow support.

- Create engaging, accurate and on-brand content across different channels.
- Reliably deliver assigned digital marketing, social media and communication activities within agreed timelines.
- Help communicate CARDET's projects, initiatives and impact to different audiences.
- Use basic performance data to understand what is working and support continuous improvement.
- Work collaboratively with the Marketing & Communications team and respond effectively to feedback and changing priorities.
- Bring fresh ideas and creative thinking to the team.
- Continue developing your skills and take on greater responsibility as your experience grows.
