Key Responsibilities

• Analyze client payroll requirements in line with Cyprus labor and tax regulations
• Implement, configure, and customize payroll software solutions
• Ensure compliance with Cyprus payroll legislation, including:
  • Income tax (PAYE) calculations
  • Social Insurance contributions
  • General Healthcare System (GeSY) deductions
  • National Holiday Fund and redundancy contributions
• Manage payroll data migration from legacy systems
• Perform payroll system testing, validation, and reconciliation
• Prepare and validate statutory reports and submissions to relevant authorities
• Support integration with accounting and HR systems
• Provide training and ongoing support to clients and internal teams
• Monitor legislative changes in Cyprus and update systems accordingly

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, IT, or related field
• Proven experience in Cyprus payroll processing or payroll system implementation
• Strong knowledge of Cyprus payroll legislation and compliance requirements
• Hands-on experience with payroll software (Soft1 Payroll experience will be considered as advantage)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and client-facing abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Payroll certification or relevant professional training
• LCCI Higher or equivalent accounting qualification
• Experience working with multiple clients or in a consulting environment

Work Environment

• Hybrid or on-site work with clients across Cyprus

• Occasional travel within Cyprus may be required
