Role Overview
We are looking for a Junior People Operations Specialist to support the day-to-day HR operations for our Cyprus-based workforce. This role will work closely with the global HR team, supporting employee and contractor administration, payroll coordination, benefits administration, and HR operational processes.
The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a remote and international environment. This position is ideal for a junior HR professional looking to grow within People Operations and HR administration.
Key Responsibilities
• Support daily People Operations and HR administrative processes for Cyprus-based employees and external collaborators.
• Coordinate and support onboarding and offboarding processes, including collection of documentation, contract follow-up, and employee records management.
• Act as the main point of contact with the external payroll consultancy regarding new hires, employee changes, terminations, payroll updates, and other payroll-related matters.
• Review payroll calculations, salary summaries, and employee cost tables prepared by the external consultancy to ensure accuracy before submission to the Finance team for payment processing.
• Support the administration and coordination of employee benefits and communicate with external providers when required.
• Maintain accurate and updated employee and contractor records in line with company standards and local regulations.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with Cyprus labor legislation and internal HR procedures. • Support the implementation and maintenance of HR policies and operational procedures.
• Provide day-to-day support to employees and external collaborators regarding HR-related matters and internal processes.
• Collaborate closely with the global HR team (located in Spain) and provide operational and administrative support across People-related initiatives.
• Coordinate with external providers and support administrative follow-up related to HR and People Operations matters.
• Prepare and maintain HR-related documentation, reports, and internal records when required.
• Assist with the organization and preliminary review of HR, outsourcing invoices, payroll-related before submission for approval.
• Support recruitment coordination for the Cyprus office, including interview scheduling, candidate communication, and administrative follow-up. Assist with job posting coordination, candidate tracking, and recruitment documentation.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Law, or a related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in HR Administration role, HR Generalist, People Operations, payroll coordination, or a similar role.
• Understanding of payroll review and social security processes
• Experience in managing employee documentation and HR operations
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment • Strong organizational and communicational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
• Fluent English is mandatory. Spanish is a plus, as the company headquarter is based in Spain
• Must be currently residing in Cyprus and hold a valid work permit. What We Offer

● Junior profile: 23.000€ - 24.000€ gross/year Final compensation will depend on experience and overall fit for the role.
