Role Overview

We are seeking a Planning Engineer responsible for the preparation, monitoring, and updating of project schedules, ensuring full compliance with contractual timelines, technical requirements, and Company procedures. The role involves early identification of delays, proposing corrective actions in collaboration with the Project Manager, and continuous progress monitoring.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, update, and agree on project execution schedules in close coordination with the Project Manager.
• Identify and assess risks impacting project timelines and propose preventive mitigation measures.
• Compare planned versus actual project progress and promptly identify deviations.
• Prepare and submit detailed progress reports, including comparisons against the baseline schedule.
• Continuously monitor site progress and record actual work execution in close collaboration with the Project Manager.
• Update project schedules on a weekly or monthly basis, as required.
• Support the preparation of corrective action plans in cases of delays, in coordination with the Project Manager.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and Company procedures.
• Collaborate closely with site teams and other departments (Procurement, Quality, Health & Safety).
• Monitor activities during the maintenance period and contribute to final project certifications.
• Manage and maintain all relevant project correspondence and documentation.

 

What we are looking for

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the construction industry; previous experience as a Site Engineer will be considered an advantage.
• Very good command of both Greek and English.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with project management tools (e.g., Primavera P6).
• Solid understanding of construction methodologies and sequencing of works.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work on-site and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• High level of responsibility, professionalism, and alignment with Company values.
