Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional turnkey BESS solutions for utility-scale and commercial & industrial (C&I) energy storage projects, primarily in Cyprus, while supporting other European markets as assigned by the company.
• Design system topology, PCS and EMS configurations, thermal-management and fire-protection solutions, and grid-connection solutions in accordance with Cyprus grid codes and the applicable requirements of other European markets.
• Deliver complete presales documentation, including technical proposals, presentations, single-line diagrams, bills of materials, benefit analyses and competitor comparisons.
• Attend customer technical meetings, respond to technical enquiries, and conduct technical negotiations and clarifications, primarily for projects in Cyprus and, when required, for other European projects.
• Take full responsibility for tender technical documentation, technical response sheets, deviation lists and bid-compliance checks.
• Research and monitor Cyprus grid standards, energy policies, grid codes, certification requirements and local market rules, while supporting similar research for other European markets as required by the company.
• Build and maintain localized BESS solution libraries, FAQ databases and sales training materials for Cyprus, while contributing to the company’s wider European presales system.
• Provide technical training and support to local sales teams, distributors and partners in Cyprus, as well as European sales teams and partners when assigned.
• Identify early-stage presales risks, including grid-connection, compliance and technical-matching risks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Renewable Energy.
• One to five years of BESS/Solar presales or solution-design experience in utility-scale or C&I energy storage.
• Familiarity with BESS system architecture, PCS, EMS, battery containers, fire-protection systems and thermal-management systems.
• Knowledge of Cyprus grid codes and applicable European grid codes, technical standards and certification requirements is preferred.
• Fluent English for customer communication, technical presentations and business negotiations. Greek is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Strong logical thinking, technical proposal-writing skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
• Able to travel within Cyprus and, when required by the company, to other European countries, while working closely with local and headquarters sales and engineering teams.
• Previous overseas or European energy-storage presales experience is highly preferred.
