Applicants must:

• Be fluent in English 
• Have Primary School teaching experience
• Have the appropriate Pedagogical Degree to teach at this level
• Be European citizen

We will select applicants that can:

• Plan and implement a range of teaching programs or courses of study
• Provide a child safe environment in accordance with the child safe standards
• Teach the curriculum to a year level.
• Monitor, evaluate and report student progress in key learning areas
• Implement strategies to achieve targets related to student learning outcomes
• Maintain records of class attendance and recording student progress
• Implement effective student management consistent with the school’s strategic plan, and
• In their first year of teaching work with a mentor to participate in professional development planning

Main Primary Teacher Duties Include:

• Responsible for the physical and emotional well-being of the children in your care.
• Preparing, presenting and checking all necessary work for the annual syllabus.
• Teaching students how to interact with others on a social level.
• Observing and evaluating student abilities, strengths, and weaknesses.
• Differentiating teaching and learning where needed
• Updating parents on their child’s progress.

The Primary school is open Monday to Friday from 7:30 am until 3:30pm.
