En-Ergon Scientific EES Ltd, a company specializing in scientific equipment and providing high-technology, high-quality products to educational and research institutions, industrial facilities, quality control laboratories, hospital laboratories and clinical units, in both the public and private sectors, is seeking to recruit a Purchasing Officer for its offices in Nicosia.

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Accounting, Marketing, or a related field
• Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken
• Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, logistics, or a related role will be considered an advantage

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing activities and procurement processes
• Prepare and issue purchase orders to local and international suppliers
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers
• Monitor order status and ensure timely delivery of goods
• Communicate and maintain relationships with suppliers
• Verify supplier invoices and ensure consistency with purchase orders and deliveries
• Coordinate import/export and logistics procedures, including shipment tracking
• Maintain procurement records and supplier databases
• Assist in inventory monitoring and stock replenishment
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and quality management systems (ISO)
• Provide administrative support related to procurement and supply chain operations
