Leptos Estates, leading Property Developers, is seeking to recruit for its head office in Paphos, an experienced:
Quantity Surveyor
Scope and general purpose of the job
Working with contractors, builders, architects and other professionals to provide the most cost-effective plans that meet high-quality standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze costing for tenders
- Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities
- Value completed work and arrange payments to contractor/subcontractors
- Provide advice on contractual claims and disputes
- Advise on a procurement strategy
- Perform risk, value management and cost control
- Monitor and control costs throughout the project
- Identify risks surrounding the project and the likelihood of cost variation
- Track any changes to the design or actual work and adjust budget projections
- Reconciliation of accounts and cost control
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering
- At least 5 years of general construction estimating experience, financial experience, construction experience or related field
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Sound knowledge of construction
- Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills
- Ability to organize, plan and strategize
