Elysee Irrigation Ltd, one of the largest industries in Cyprus in the production of piping systems for water supply, irrigation, drainage, and cabling, with a leading position in the local market and exports to more than 65 countries worldwide, is expanding and strengthening its strategic development by recruiting competent individuals. 

 

Elysee Irrigation Ltd is looking for a talented and motivated R&D Engineer to join our dynamic team based at our factory in Ergates Industrial Area, Nicosia. In this role, you will be involved in the design, development, and continuous improvement of our products that serve customers across international markets.

 

Position: R&D Engineer

 

Department: Product Development and Quality                                    

 

Location: Ergates Industrial Area, Nicosia

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design and develop new products focusing on innovation, functionality and performance.to ensure the company’s overall success, competitiveness, and resilience in a dynamic market,

• Improve existing product designs by developing quality, durability, efficiency and user experience

• Investigate product issues and implement mold improvements to resolve defects.

• Conduct research on new technologies, materials and industry best practices.

• Drive innovation by developing smart engineering solutions to meet evolving demands.

• Plan, execute and document experimental trials for product and process validation.

• Perform simulations (polymer flow, FEA) to validate design integrity and performance.

• Drive innovation by developing smart engineering solutions to meet evolving demands.

• Any other task assigned related to the position and/or the needs of the Company.

 

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:

• BSc in Mechanical Engineering, or Product Design or related field is required.

• Work experience in a similar role is beneficial but is not necessary.

• Proficiency in 3D CAD modelling (NX, solid works, Inventor )

• Experience in FEA and/or CFD tools is an advantage.

• Strong problem- solving skills with a proactive, hands – on mindset.

• Excellent teamwork and communications skills

• Talented and driven team player enthusiastic about contributing to multiple projects and initiatives
