Leonardo Hotels & Resorts Mediterranean is committed to delivering outstanding guest experiences through exceptional service, professionalism, and a passion for hospitality. We are currently seeking a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Receptionist to join our team at NALU Hotel in Latsi.
Job Summary
The Receptionist is responsible for managing front desk operations, ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience, handling guest enquiries, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. This role works closely with the Head Receptionist to maintain the highest standards of guest service and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and professionally.
- Verify daily room allocations and report any pending arrivals or departures to the Head Receptionist.
- Provide guests with accurate information regarding hotel facilities, services, local attractions, transportation, and events.
- Conduct effective shift handovers, ensuring all relevant information is communicated.
- Manage and balance the reception cash float.
- Maintain the reception area's ambience, including lighting and background music.
- Report maintenance issues or damages to the Head Receptionist and follow up with the Maintenance team when required.
- Stay informed about exchange rates, weather forecasts, and the availability of guest information materials.
- Monitor room availability to maximise occupancy and identify opportunities for room upgrades.
- Prepare, verify, and issue guest invoices accurately before departure.
- Ensure the reception area remains clean, organised, and welcoming at all times.
- Maintain daily logs and incident records accurately.
- Comply with all Health & Safety regulations and GDPR requirements.
- Follow hotel procedures for reporting guest and employee accidents.
- Carry out any other Front Office duties assigned by management.
Skills & Qualifications
- Friendly, professional, and service-oriented personality.
- Excellent command of English; knowledge of additional languages will be considered an advantage.
- Diploma from a recognised Hotel School or previous experience in a similar Front Office role.
- Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle guest requests, enquiries, and complaints with professionalism.
- Good knowledge of Front Office procedures and hotel operations.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining Health & Safety and GDPR standards.
