About the team:

We are the international Reconciliation Team, based in Nicosia, providing financial reconciliation services to our PRIME customers.

What you will be doing:

We are seeking a skilled specialist with knowledge and experience of financial reconciliation and data analysis, preferably within the financial industry, to manage a system reconciliation service involving daily balancing activities for TSYS clients. The key responsibilities of the role will be:

• Conduct daily reconciliation of the PRIME service for clients and produce a consolidated reconciliation status report for all clients
• Investigate out-of-balance incidents and raise tickets if necessary for root cause resolution and data recovery, tracking them to resolution
• Participate in designing and testing automated balancing spreadsheets for new clients tailored to their specific configuration
• Participate in the analysis, design and testing of additional reconciliation checkpoints as necessary for existing clients

What you bring:

• 5+ years relevant experience in IT/Payments/Bank/Finance domain
• Educated to degree level in a numerate subject, e,g. Finance, Banking, IT or equivalent
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and LibreOffice including ability to design and use pivot tables, macros and formulae
• Ability to work independently to a pre-agreed schedule and support the Team whenever required
• Excellent communication skills - ability to communicate clearly and concisely in English, both verbally and in writing 
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy of reporting
• A self-starter, pro-active and able to operate on their own initiative 

Added bonus if you have:

• Basic knowledge and experience on SQL, Python and scripting 
• Basic knowledge on Jupyter Lab would be an advantage
• VBA knowledge would be an advantage
• London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) Higher Accounting would be an advantage

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is EUR 24,230.00 – EUR 30,000.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
