RESEARCH ASSISTANT

We are looking for a full-time Research Assistant to join the Neurogenetics Department of the Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics. 

The position’s starting date is on 2nd October 2025 and it is for a period of 12 months with possibility of renewal for another 12 months.

JOB SUMMARY 

The successful candidate will work on an AFM-France research project entitled CMT microRNA biomarkers discovery. Specifically, she/he will carry out research in the field of genomics and high throughput microRNA analyses.

REQUIREMENTS

• A PhD degree in any Biological Science, Chemistry or closely related field 
• Excellent command of the Greek and/or Turkish and English languages

Previous experience in next-generation sequencing research, including authoring manuscripts and successful funding applications and practical experience in omics technologies, data analysis and interpretation will be considered as advantages.
