Thanos Hotels & Resorts is seeking to recruit a Reservations Manager.
Position Summary
The Reservations Manager is responsible for the efficient daily operation of the Reservations Department, ensuring the highest standards of guest service, accuracy, and revenue optimization. Working closely with the Group Head of Reservations, the Reservations Manager oversees reservations activities, supports team performance, monitors booking processes, and ensures that all reservations are handled professionally in line with the standards of a 5-star luxury hotel.
The role requires strong operational leadership, excellent attention to detail, commercial awareness, and the ability to deliver exceptional service experiences while maximizing room revenue and occupancy opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage daily operations of the Reservations Department under the direction of the Group Head of Reservations.
• Supervise, coach, and support the Reservations team to achieve service and performance standards.
• Ensure accurate handling of all reservations, amendments, cancellations, and special requests.
• Maintain high standards of guest communication and deliver exceptional 5-star service.
• Monitor reservation accuracy, system updates, and compliance with hotel procedures.
• Support revenue optimization through inventory control, upselling, and rate management.
• Coordinate with Revenue Management, Front Office, Sales, and other departments.
• Handle escalated guest inquiries and reservation-related issues professionally.
• Assist with team training, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement.
• Prepare reports and support departmental objectives, strategies, and operational improvements.
• Perform any other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Group Head of Reservations.
Requirements:
• Minimum 7 years of experience in hotel reservations, preferably within a luxury or 5-star hotel environment.
• Excellent command of the English language; additional languages are an advantage.
• Strong computer literacy.
• Strong knowledge of hotel reservation procedures, PMS, CRS, and booking systems.
• Good understanding of room inventory management, rates, and revenue optimization principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in handling reservations.
• Ability to manage guest requests, complaints, and complex reservation situations professionally.
• Strong customer service mindset with a commitment to luxury hospitality standards.
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Professional attitude, integrity, confidentiality, and strong teamwork skills.
