Job Title: Retail Vendor

Department: Food & Beverage – Front of House

Reports To: Assistant Beverage Manager
 

Job Profile:

Ararat Grand Residences is seeking a reliable and service-oriented Retail Vendor to support the daily operations of our Delicatessen Shop.  The role involves supplying, preparing, and ensuring the presentation of high-quality food and beverage products in a luxury retail environment, while maintaining exceptional standards of quality, hygiene, and customer experience.

Job Description:

• Provide and supply fresh food and beverage products according to operational requirements
• Prepare, package, and present food and beverage items for display and retail sale
• Ensure all products meet strict quality, freshness, and presentation standards
• Comply with all food safety, hygiene, and health regulations at all times
• Monitor and maintain stock levels, ensuring timely replenishment of products
• Coordinate with the Delicatessen Shop team to ensure smooth daily operations
• Support the organization and visual presentation of products in the retail area
• Ensure timely delivery of goods and maintain accurate product flow schedules
• Assist in maintaining product consistency and brand standards

 Person Specification

• Previous experience in the food and beverage or retail food industry
• Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work efficiently under pressure
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Basic knowledge of sales, stock handling, or inventory management
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexible and adaptable with working hours, including weekends and evenings
• Attention to detail and commitment to product quality and presentation

 Work Environment:

• Luxury retail and hospitality environment
• Fast-paced operational setting with guest-facing product standards
• Requires standing and active involvement during working hours
• High standard of hygiene, grooming and presentation required
