Seafreight Forwarding Operation Officer

Five Continents Logistics Co Ltd, one of the leading Freight Forwarding and Custom Clearing companies in Cyprus, is seeking to recruit Seafreight Department Officers, in the following sections:

Primary Responsibilities:

• Being able to communicate with our clientele, in a professional manner, for discussing their shipping needs, retrieve relevant information and offer solutions

• Enquiring and reviewing relevant shipping documentation (Commercial invoices / packing lists / Bill of Ladings / Custom Certificates, etc.)

• Communicating with shipping lines and their respective electronic systems for booking reservations, enquiries, availabilities.

• Communicating and coordinating with international agents and our in-house teams, for concluding cargo shipments

• Upon successful evaluation candidates may be selected for following specific specializations and / or combination of both:

a)     Seafreight Operations Follow Up

b)     Seafreight Quotations

Requirements

• Previous experience in Freight Forwarding / Logistics Sector shall be considered an immediate advantage

• Academic qualifications in Shipping & Freight Forwarding shall also be considered as an advantage

• Excellent command of the Greek and English language, both in verbal and written communication

• Excellent computer literacy

• Dynamic interpersonal skills and team spirit
