CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established provider of Audit, Tax, Accounting, Consulting & Financial Advisory services to both local and international companies, we are seeking to recruit a Semi-Senior Auditor to join their growing team based in Nicosia. As a Semi-Senior Auditor, you will assist in the execution of audit engagements for local and international clients in accordance with IFRS and ISA. Our client is seeking applicants who are working towards a professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA) who possess approximately 1-3 years of experience in the audit field. You will need to have knowledge of Caseware International software, and be fluent in both verbal and written Greek and English. An attractive remuneration package is on offer based on skills and experience, along with excellent working hours (Monday – Wednesday & Friday: 07:30 - 15:00 & Thursday: 07:30 - 17:30).

 

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assist in the execution of audit engagements for local and international clients in accordance with IFRS and ISA.
• Work under the supervision of Seniors/Managers to complete audit assignments.
• Prepare audit working papers and documentation in line with Firm policies and standards.
• Communicate with clients to obtain information and resolve queries on a timely basis.
• Identify and report audit issues to the Senior/Manager.
• Assist in the preparation of Financial Statements, tax computations, and tax returns.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

 

Key Skills/Experience:

• Partly qualified ACA/ACCA (progress towards qualification is essential).
• 1-3 years of audit experience.
• Knowledge of Caseware International is essential.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
• Strong communication skills (both oral and written) in Greek and English.
• Knowledge of Russian will be considered an advantage.
