Salary: Up to €40,000 gross per annum (negotiable depending on experience and qualifications)

Our client is a fast-growing international health and wellness business operating multiple consumer brands and serving millions of customers globally. With operations spanning numerous international markets, the company combines product innovation, in-house capabilities, and an entrepreneurial approach to growth.

As the business continues to scale, it is strengthening its finance infrastructure to support increasingly complex international operations and future strategic growth.

Our client is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to take ownership of key accounting and financial reporting activities across its international group.

The immediate focus of the position will be hands-on accounting, month-end close, multi-entity reporting, reconciliations and financial control, with particular responsibility for the company’s Cyprus operations.

As the successful candidate develops within the business, the role will gradually expand into areas such as financial modelling, M&A, due diligence and post-acquisition integration, with training and support provided. This creates an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who wants to broaden their career beyond traditional accounting over time.

Responsibilities

• Manage the monthly accounting and close process across multiple legal entities, with a particular focus on Cyprus
• Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure transactions are correctly recorded
• Prepare consolidated P&L, balance sheet and cash flow reporting
• Manage and review accounts payable, accounts receivable and bank reconciliations
• Monitor budgets and assist with variance analysis and rolling forecasts
• Coordinate with external accountants, advisors and financial reporting providers
• Support tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions in collaboration with local advisors
• Maintain appropriate financial controls and ensure accurate and timely reporting
• Identify accounting discrepancies and proactively resolve financial reporting issues
• Support the continued development and improvement of accounting processes as the business scales

Future Development – Corporate Finance & M&A

As the successful candidate develops within the position, they will receive training and gradually gain exposure to:

• Financial modelling for potential acquisitions and new business investments
• Financial due diligence and analysis of acquisition targets
• Reviewing target company financials and identifying potential risks or discrepancies
• Deal documentation and data room management
• Post-acquisition accounting and financial integration
• Entity structuring
• Strategic financial analysis relating to market entry, brand launches and capital allocation

Previous M&A or corporate finance experience is therefore not required.

Requirements

• Approximately 4–7 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, financial control or a similar finance position
• Experience working with multiple legal entities and ideally multiple currencies
• Strong understanding of month-end close, reconciliations and financial reporting
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial controls
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Proactive and self-directed approach, with the ability to identify issues and take ownership of resolving them
• Comfortable working within a fast-growing, entrepreneurial and founder-led organisation
• Ability to work independently within a fully remote environment
• Fluent English, both written and spoken
