CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, one of the most well-established suppliers of lighting solutions across Cyprus, we are seeking to recruit a Senior Accountant to join their growing team. Reporting to Senior Management, you will play a key role overseeing the accounting and finance function of the company, as well as providing valuable support to the logistics department. As part of your role, you will maintain accounting records, issue invoices, assist with payroll preparation, and more! Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in a relevant field of study, who possess approximately 5+ years of experience in a relevant accounting role. You will need to be fluent in both Greek and English, and be a confident user of MS Office applications, along with accounting software. An attractive remuneration package is on offer based on skills and experience, which includes a 13th salary.

 

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Maintaining accounting records and assisting with bookkeeping entries.
• Issuing invoices, monitoring receivables and payables, and liaising with suppliers and clients.
• Assisting with payroll preparation and coordination with external accountants and auditors.
• Supporting budgeting, cost monitoring, and financial and operational reporting.
• Providing operational support to management and assisting with internal procedures and documentation.
• Coordinating logistics operations including supplier coordination, deliveries, inventory follow-up, and operational scheduling.
• Supporting day-to-day office operations and administrative processes including ISO 9001 documentation.
• Ensuring compliance with Company policies and Cyprus legal, tax, and operational requirements.
• Any duties related to the position and assigned by the Management.

 

Key Skills/Experience: 

 

• Educated to degree level in Accounting, Finance, Economics or similar is desirable.
• Holders of any relevant accounting qualifications are welcome to apply.
• Approximately 5+ years of relevant experience in a similar accounting role is essential.
• Fluency in Greek and English.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office applications, including Excel.
• Previous experience working with Accounting Software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Time management and ability to meet deadlines.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.
