CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an established provider of Audit & Accounting services to a diverse portfolio of clients, we are seeking to recruit a Senior Auditor to join their growing team based in Nicosia. As a Senior Auditor, you will be responsible for conducting external audit engagements in compliance with International Standards on Auditing (ISAs), as well as preparing financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in a relevant field such as Accounting, Finance, Economics, who possess approximately 3+ years of relevant experience in an audit firm. Knowledge of Caseware International software is a must, as well as excellent command of both the English and Greek languages. An attractive remuneration package is on offer based on skills and experience, including a 13th salary.

 

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Perform audit engagements for the company´s clients.
• Prepare financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Communication with clients via email and phone.
• Preparation of clients´ tax returns and tax computations.
• Provide support to the Audit Manager.

 

Key Skills/Experience: 

• Educated to degree level in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or similar.
• Holders of, or those working towards any professional accounting qualification are encouraged to apply.
• 3+ years of experience in a similar position.
• Excellent knowledge of IFRS and ISA.
• Confident user of MS Office applications.
• Familiar with Caseware International software.
• Excellent knowledge of the English and Greek languages.
