Purpose of Role/Summary:

The Senior IT Support Engineer provides technical assistance and support across hardware, software, networks, and other IT systems. This role is responsible for troubleshooting technical issues, maintaining smooth daily IT operations, and supporting employees with their technology needs. It offers an excellent opportunity to develop foundational IT skills and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Main Activities and Responsibilities:

• Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software, and network issues
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, applications, and IT equipment
• Manage and resolve help desk tickets in a timely manner
• Set up new hardware and software for end users
• Administer Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, license management)
• Perform system backups and assist with data security and recovery
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls
• Document troubleshooting steps and system configurations
• Support IT projects and ensure systems are regularly updated
• Maintain inventory of IT equipment and software
• Assist with various IT-related tasks as needed
• Provide support for other IT-related tasks and projects as needed
• Any other duties relevant to the role

Required Skills & Experience:

• Experience with Microsoft Office 365 administration and troubleshooting
• Basic knowledge of hardware, Windows/macOS, and common applications
• Understanding of networking concepts (IP, DNS, DHCP)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Clear communication skills, especially with non-technical users
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Familiarity with remote support and ticketing systems (a plus)
• Microsoft 365 certification (Fundamentals or higher) — required
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
• Prior IT support or help desk experience is a plus
• Eagerness to learn and take on new responsibilities

Further Info:

• Working hours are 09:00 – 18:00 Monday to Friday
• The role is in Limassol, Cyprus
• Friendly and fun working environment
• 23+ days annual leave entitlement (Cyprus)
