Senior Project Manager – EU Projects

 

STANDO LTD (STANDOutEdu) and its affiliated companies are expanding and seeking to recruit a Senior Project Manager - EU Projects to support the implementation of EU‑funded projects and training initiatives.

 

We are a research, education, and training organisation with an active presence in Cyprus, Bulgaria, and Spain, delivering projects funded under Erasmus+, Horizon Europe, AMIF, CERV, and other European programmes.

 

 

The Role

 

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the full lifecycle of EU‑funded projects, ensuring high‑quality implementation, compliance with programme rules, and timely delivery of project outputs.

 

You will work within a structured Project Management Department and report to the Head of Project Management, collaborating closely with internal departments and international consortium partners.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the implementation of EU‑funded projects in line with approved proposals and grant agreements

• Manage partner coordination, timelines, deliverables, and quality standards

• Prepare and oversee project deliverables, progress reports, and supporting documentation

• Ensure compliance with EU programme requirements, grant agreements, and EU visibility rules

• Maintain structured, audit‑ready digital project folders and documentation

• Identify project risks, propose mitigation measures, and escalate issues where necessary

• Coordinate with the Accounting Department and provide documentation required for financial reporting and reimbursements

• Support and organise workshops, meetings, events, and project‑related training activities (EU‑funded and standalone)

• Mentor junior team members and contribute to continuous improvement of internal project management procedures

 

 

What We Are Looking For

 

Essential

• Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in the implementation or management of EU‑funded projects, with responsibility for end‑to‑end project delivery, reporting, and coordination with partners.

• Proven experience coordinating multi‑partner European projects

• Strong organisational, documentation, and reporting skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

• Solid understanding of EU project implementation and visibility requirements

• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities

Desirable

• Experience across multiple EU programmes (Erasmus+, Horizon Europe, AMIF, CERV)

• Experience with audit, monitoring, or evaluation processes

• Familiarity with training delivery or HRDA procedures

• Proposal writing experience
