Reinforced Ltd is a specialist design and engineering consultancy delivering innovative façade solutions for some of the UK's most exciting construction developments.
 

Our portfolio includes high-rise buildings, commercial developments, stadiums, transport hubs, town halls and student accommodation projects.
 

We work closely with leading contractors, architects and manufacturers, providing technical expertise in GRC, precast concrete, façade support systems and structural engineering.
 

As our business continues to expand, we are seeking an ambitious engineer who wants to take ownership of projects, work directly with clients and contribute to the long-term growth of the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake structural design and engineering calculations for GRC, precast concrete and façade systems.
• Prepare detailed engineering reports, technical documentation and design calculations.
• Produce and review technical drawings using AutoCAD, with opportunities to work in Revit.
• Design and assess façade support systems, brackets, fixings and structural connections.
• Coordinate with our internal design team, contractors, manufacturers and external engineers.
• Manage engineering deliverables from initial design through to manufacture and installation.
• Review fabrication drawings and technical detailing packages to ensure compliance with engineering requirements.
• Attend online design coordination meetings and communicate directly with UK-based clients.
• Support the development of innovative, practical and efficient engineering solutions.
• Contribute to the continued development and growth of Reinforced Ltd.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in structural design, ideally including precast concrete or GRC or façade engineering.
• Excellent AutoCAD skills are essential, with the ability to confidently produce, review and modify technical drawings independently.
• Revit experience is advantageous but not essential. Candidates without Revit experience must be willing and motivated to learn.
• Fluent written and spoken English is essential, as the role involves regular communication with UK-based colleagues, clients and contractors.
• Ability to prepare professional structural calculations and technical engineering reports.
• Strong understanding of structural analysis, materials and construction detailing.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities and meet deadlines within a remote working environment.
• Flexibility to travel occasionally within Cyprus, the UK or internationally when required.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Chartered Engineer status is advantageous but not essential.
