Key Requirements

• Proven experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-grade systems and network infrastructures in hybrid environments.
• Strong expertise in Windows Server and Linux administration across on-premises and cloud platforms.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise networking equipment from vendors such as Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Aruba.
• Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and network security principles.
• Experience managing hybrid identity environments including Active Directory and Entra ID (Azure AD).
• Solid understanding of cloud networking concepts in Azure and/or AWS environments.
• Strong knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements aligned with ISO 27001 and NIS.
• Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate or equivalent.
• Professional networking certifications such as CCNP, Fortinet NSE 4 or above, or equivalent.
• Cloud certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Network Engineer Associate are advantageous.
• ISO/IEC 27001 Foundation or Lead Implementer certification is highly desirable.
• ITIL Foundation certification is considered a plus.

Main Responsibilities

Systems Administration

• Design, implement, and manage Windows and Linux server environments across on-premises and cloud platforms.
• Administer hybrid identity environments including Active Directory, Entra ID, MFA, and role-based access controls.
• Manage virtualization platforms, such as VMware, Hyper-V and associated storage systems.

Network Engineering

• Design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable LAN, WAN, and wireless network infrastructures.
• Configure and manage enterprise firewalls, VPNs, and network security controls.
• Implement and maintain secure connectivity between on-premises infrastructure and cloud environments.

Security and Resilience

• Implement system and network hardening, patch management, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Monitor network and system performance, availability, and security events.
• Support incident response, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.

Compliance and Governance

• Ensure systems and network configurations comply with ISO 27001 controls and NIS regulatory requirements.
• Lead infrastructure and network upgrades, segmentation, and security improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate documentation for audits, disaster recovery, and operational procedures.

Team Support

• Provide escalation support for complex issues and mentor junior engineers.

Key Skills

• Firewall and network security design skills.
• Proficiency in PowerShell and/or Bash scripting.
• Virtualization, storage, and backup solution experience.

• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to design and implement infrastructure solutions.
