Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate Sous Chef to join our team. This role requires strong leadership, creativity, and a commitment to delivering outstanding dishes consistently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in all aspects of kitchen management, including  food preparation, and plating.
• Ensure high-quality food standards and consistency in taste, presentation, and portioning.
• Oversee kitchen staff, providing training, motivation, and guidance to maintain a strong and efficient team.
• Monitor food inventory and ensure proper stock levels, ordering supplies as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic kitchen environment, adhering to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Collaborate with the team to develop new menu items and seasonal specials.
• Ensure timely and efficient service, coordinating with the front-of-house team for a seamless dining experience.
• Assist in managing kitchen costs, minimizing waste, and optimizing productivity.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Chef or sous chef or in a similar leadership role in a high-quality restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety regulations.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Creativity and passion for food, with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus.
