Job Description
The Business Development – Store Manager is responsible for driving sales growth, managing daily retail operations, and expanding business opportunities for ENGINO products and educational services at Limassol store, Kolonakiou area. This role combines strategic business development with hands-on store management to ensure an exceptional customer experience while increasing revenue through partnerships, educational programs, and retail initiatives.
The ideal candidate is commercially minded, highly organized, and passionate about STEM education, retail excellence, and customer engagement.
Ideally, the candidate should have a background in engineering or education, enabling them to understand engineering technologies and contribute to R&D through the development of new product ideas that resonate with consumers. They should also have a strong understanding of marketing and consumer behaviour. The role includes some teaching of student groups, such as Arduino workshops, helping the candidate gain direct insight into children’s learning behaviour while improving communication with parents. In addition, the candidate should support the organisation of open days, in-store events, and external promotional activities.
Main Responsibilities
Business Development
· Promote ENGINO STEM and robotics products, workshops, and educational solutions.
· Identify and develop new business opportunities with schools & educational institutions.
· Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
· Develop and execute strategies to increase sales and market presence.
· Represent ENGINO at events, and networking opportunities.
Store Management
· Oversee the day-to-day operations of the ENGINO retail store.
· Ensure high standards of customer service and store presentation.
· Manage inventory levels, stock replenishment, and merchandising.
· Monitor sales performance and implement actions to achieve targets.
· Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and after-sales support.
· Organize in-store promotions, demonstrations, and educational events.
· Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety standards, and cash handling procedures.
· Supervise, train, and motivate store staff.
· Prepare staff schedules and manage attendance.
Qualifications and Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Education or a related field.
· Minimum 3–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or retail management.
· Experience in education, toys, STEM products, or technology sectors is an advantage.
· Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
· Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
· Fluency in Greek and English.
Remuneration and work hours:
A competitive salary package will be offered based on qualifications and experience. Plus a 13th salary.
The work hours are 40 per week, spread over 6 days including Saturday. Sunday day-off.
